The NWA Emerging Leaders Series Inspires Women in Business

The big picture: Northwest Arkansas Emerging Leaders (NWAEL) exists to connect and engage the region’s young professionals through personal and professional development experiences. Throughout the year different programs are offered to help them:

• Connect to the community, expand leadership skills, and become more engaged with the region’s initiatives.

What happened: On Tuesday, March 28, NWAEL kicked off their L.E.A.D. Series (Leadership, Education, Advancement and Development) by partnering with two women-owned businesses: Resplendent Arkansas and Likewise in downtown Fayetteville.

• Over 50 women gathered together for an evening of networking and professional development.

• The programming honored and recognized women in business as part of Women’s History Month in March.

• This new L.E.A.D. Series is all about #GirlPower and intends to inspire, empower, and motivate women in business.
