Chamber Launches Community Awareness Campaign
n late September, the Chamber produced a series of new streetlight banners to hang on W. Pauline Whitaker Pkwy. in the Pinnacle Hills area of Rogers and in various locations in Downtown Rogers. The goal of the banners is to increase the community’s awareness of recent economic
development successes achieved by Rogers. Banner messaging and designs highlight job growth, capital investment, trails, and recent Downtown Rogers Initiative developments. The campaign launched at the end of October. Five years ago, the Chamber implemented Impact Possible 2016,
a capital campaign that successfully accelerated significant economic growth in the Rogers-Lowell Area. Chamber investors stepped up and overwhelmingly supported it. When you see a banner, snap a photo of it and share with us on the Chamber’s Facebook or Twitter pages with the hashtag #ImpactPossible.

“Topping Out” Celebration Held for Arkansas Children’s Northwest September 28 | 2016 - Arkansas Children’s board members and staff hosted a topping out ceremony for donors and volunteers on the construction site and future home of Arkansas Children’s Northwest. “This project is about so much more than a building. It’s about fundamentally transforming health for hundreds of thousands of children in the Northwest

The beam is the tallest beam that
will be placed on the project. Last week, it was transported to corporate headquarters at Tyson Foods, Inc.; Walmart; J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc.; George’s, Inc. and the Arkansas Children’s Clinic at Lowell, where employees were invited to sign their names and write messages of support. Guests of the Topping Out Celebration added their signatures, as well.
