This year’s event convened over 1,500 attendees, helping the Chamber support and inspire the NEXT generation of multicultural business and community leaders!

The NWA Community Showcase 2024, presented by Pepsico and the Walton Family Foundation, is RLC’s FREE Downtown Rogers event celebrating our inclusive and welcoming community with fun, multicultural experiences for ALL ages.
By the numbers: More than 1,500 people gathered in Downtown Rogers Sept. 14, to be a part of this year’s event!
Booths: 70+ vendors featured their products & experiences to participants through live demos, interactive exhibits, games and giveaways!
Performers: Local dance groups shared their culture through performances the ENTIRE community could get involved with!

What they’re saying: Salvadoreños Unidos performer, Yanira Pleitez, said Community Showcase is “so important for the community,” and that, “the more we get cultures together, the more we learn from them.”
Decades-long Rogers residents, Tom & Cindy Youngblood, said NWA is “a growing community, with a lot going on.” They said Community Showcase, “is important because it shows diversity, and that we ALL want to celebrate that.”
Community Showcase volunteer, Marco Sanches, said “this is my first year here. There’s so many different things do, different people with different experiences. I find it very fun being here, seeing people express what they like.”
Battle of the Chefs Competition:
Local chefs battled it out for bragging rights, but only one chef came out on top!
Congratulations to Chef Judex Pereira with Fuegos Food Truck for winning the title of best chef at NWA Community Showcase 2024!
OVERSTREET’S JEWELRY
26 YEARS LATER...
A conversation with decades-long Chamber member, Don Overstreet from Overstreet’s Jewelry, Inc.
Back to the beginning: Overstreet Jewelry Inc. began its membership with the Rogers Lowell Chamber in 1998. However, it was in 1948 when the family-owned business first began its journey.
• Read more about their history here. Chamber support: Since becoming a member, Overstreet Jewelry Inc. has continued to serve the Northwest Arkansas community through the art of jewelry making and relations.
• What they’re saying: When describing his experience with the Chamber, Don Overstreet said, “Our local chambers of commerce, Rogers/Lowell and Bentonville/Bella Vista, have been important to us by supporting and promoting local small businesses… we have always been appreciative of that support.”
What’s next: After serving the NWA community for 76 years, Overstreet Jewelry Inc. has decided to close its doors. Don says, “We feel greatly blessed to have been here to watch our community grow to what it is today.”

Leadership Benton County (LBC) Wraps Up 2024 Cohort: Applications open for 2025
LBC seeks to promote and develop dynamic community leaders for Benton County’s next generation. The program promotes a regional view of the area, while also educating and uniting a diverse group of local community members!
Learning: LBC provides leadership training specific to regional issues facing our community and serves as the Chamber’s training ground for future leaders in Benton County.
Volunteering: In effort to give back, participants also spent time giving back in the community through several volunteer opportunities.
LBC is now accepting applications for the 2025 Cohort! Apply now!!

Bikes, Blues, & BBQ Motorcycle Rally: Sept. 19-21 returned to Downtown Rogers!
• Rally with a purpose: BBBQ benefits women, children, and the underserved members of the Northwest Arkansas community.
• By the numbers: Rally donations have totaled to over $3 million over the years, drawing hundreds of thousands of visitors to Rogers for a total of $15 million in direct spending into the regional economy!
Walmart NW Championship Week: Sept. 24-29, 2024, in Rogers
• Creating a destination: Walmart NW Arkansas Championship is a week-long celebration, offering a wide variety of events and activities at affordable prices for the whole community.
• Economic impact: Each fall, this event drives over $15 million in direct spending into Rogers.
• National media coverage of the championship increases awareness of NWA, while also positioning our destination in a positive and progressive light.
Why it matters: Hosting big signature live events like BBBQ and the LPGA are great attention getters for Rogers. More importantly, they support local businesses and organizations that benefit our families, neighbors and friends.
