Although playing a non competition game last night, the boys took to the turf with one goal in mind - to win! Having played and drawn with WHHS two weeks ago we had a point to make - and make it we did. Periods of strong play, attacks on goal and then hard fought defensive moments saw the play move up and down the turf. It wasn't until the final 5 mins that a beautiful cross in the circle saw Player of the Day Isaac Field smash in the winning goal. Fantastic effort by the whole team!

GIRLS FOOTBALL
Final Score was 3 to 1 to Tokoroa High School. A very even game till 2nd half. Milla Phipps scored the only goal drop for Lakes in first half by kicking the ball over the heads of a group of about five Tokoroa players and straight into goal. It was a stunning goal to watch. Sasha Temara was Player of the Day for her superb cover. Great game well done
