Yazeed is a proud triangle.

And has always felt happy in the company of his family.

In fact, he’s only known other triangles his whole life.

Yazeed was overwhelmed!

Never before had he seen so many different people! He was the only triangle.

This made Yazeed feel tiny.

When he came home from school that day, he was very sad.

His parents tried to comfort him.

“No one at school is like me!” Said Yazeed

Yazeed’s parents knew this day would come.

“We aren’t like most people here.”

Yazeed’s parents said.

“But why?” Said Yazeed

“Because we’re strangers to this place,” said Yazeed’s parents.

“We came here because we dreamed of a better life for you.”

“Even though you are different, you should never feel like you don’t belong.”

“You should be proud of who you are!”

“There’s no reason you can’t fit in!”

Yazeed felt better.
