School Budget Cuts By Shansharay Tucker The school budget cuts were about to remove the Balboa Park system including our Sixth Grade Camp trip. Then the new and upcoming students next year won’t be able to have all the fun activities we have now. The students will miss out on a lot of activities, they will layoff teachers. And we don’t want that to happen. So I feel the good thing is now over.

B-5 Speaks Out About Budget Cuts by Shansharay Tucker Mrs. William’s Class B-5 wrote letters to the school board: 5th Grade student, Destiny Frost spoke upon her little sister. Her sister is in the third grade and is looking forward to going to the Friendship garden and feels that the budget cuts will end all good field trips. 5th grade student, Tony Lewis spoke regarding the fact that he doesn’t want the budget to be cut down. 5th grade students, Jocelyn Palefox stated that she wants her sister to be able to go on field trips also. 5th grader, Casey Jones spoke upon his bother and how he also wants his brother to be able to attend those field trips too. 5th grader, Marcos wishes to keep all the programs open for other children to learn multiple things. The main thing is the I got from these letters is that kids want their brothers are sisters to go on these fun field trips and feel the same way, but with more meaning.
