9400-2002
Series 9400 High Pressure Relief Valve New from Taylor Valve Technology The Series 9400 Relief Valve provides over pressure protection for various types of equipment at high- pressure conditions. The 9400 is direct acting spring operated, relying on the system pressure to overcome the spring force in order to open and relieve system pressure. The 9400 Series is intended for liquid services. It exhibits the characteristics of a modulating relief valve in that there is virtually no blowdown. The valve will reseat very near the set point. This valve is designed to discharge to atmospheric conditions and should not be exposed to any significant back pressure. The 9400 features a forged body with an integral male wing union inlet connection. All components are made from high quality materials and are available for both standard and H2S service. The 9400 Series is manufactured to Taylor Valve's Quality System, which is certified by ASME, API and DNV. The Series 9400 meets the performance requirements of API RP 520. The 9400 Series is available in the following configurations: Inlet
