What Have I Been Up To? Since the last newsletter, I have attended the June Board Meeting where I became closer to the rest of the Key Club Family. At this meeting, I learned more about how to become a great Lt. G through the teachings of the 2015-2016 lieutenant governors. Hopefully, I will be able to live up to their awesomeness! ď Š Additionally, we all bonded together over ice cream, the Denver Aquarium, and Cards Against Humanity (LOL). Furthermore, I have been spending the month of July teaching English to Taiwanese kids in rural areas. It was definitely a blessing to learn about each child’s background. What I have learned in these few weeks will help me become a better person overall.

The Board: In the last newsletter, we had talked about the basic representation of Key Club. This time, I thought I would introduce the 2016-2017 board member. Governor: Aliza Mitchell Aliza is an amazing and down to earth person. As the governor, she is responsible for the operations at the district board. Secretary: Olivia Becker Olivia is a sweet and caring person. As the secretary, her main responsibility is communication. This includes both the communication between the clubs to the district and the district to international. Treasurer: Diana Antillon Diana is an incredibly intelligent person. Can you guess what her job is?............You got it! She takes care of all the financial situations in the district. So, remember to pay your dues, guys! Bulletin Editor: Ciana Burroughs Ciana is an adorable and talented person. You can always find her drawing on her phone. Her main priority is to coordinate, edit, and distribute club publications

Guess what I found in Taiwan, everyone?

KIWANIS CLUB! Sadly, I couldn’t go and had to take the picture as a drive by. I’ll have to plan it into my trip next time. 

International Convention: As I couldn’t go, I had to hear the amazing stories from everyone else. From Coca-Cola World to the beaches, it seemed like those who went had a blast! Be sure to sign up next year. Some important information taken from ICON are listed below. - International Trustee for our district: Jessica Bae - International President: Devin Sun - International Vice President: Mary Grace Lewis

Summertime Fun! So‌summer is almost over! I’m positive you have all done wonderful and amazing activities for Key Club this break. Post your pictures to the Division 11 Facebook page!

Key Clubber of the Month

For this month, there was not a nomination for Key Clubber of the Month. Hopefully, we will have nominations for the next month. Remember, if you think someone is an excellent member, send in a paragraph to me about him/her along with pictures!
