WHAT I’VE BEEN UP TO
Hello Everyone! I hope the first weeks of summer have been treating you well. I have been pretty busy between work, Key Club, and finding time to relax! I started off the month working pretty much non-stop, and then I got a break to attend a District Board Meeting, which I will be covering later. When I came home I went straight to volunteer at Taste of Fort Collins, which was super fun! Now I’m looking forward to catching up on my sleep and preparing to attend International Convention in Atlanta in July!

LARIMER COUNTY FOOD BANK Volunteering at the food bank is a great way to keep up with service over the summer! Anyone 10 and up can volunteer and shifts are between 2 and 3 hours every week. For more information you can visit http://www.foodbanklarimer.org/ volunteer/.
Summer Service
HABITAT FOR HUMANITY Habitat for Humanity is also a great way to volunteer over the summer. Volunteers 16 and up can work at the construction site Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 8:00 to 3:30 or work at the Restore. For more information visit http:// www.fortcollinshabitat.org/volunteer/.
JUNE BOARD MEETING June 9th-11th the Rocky Mountain District Board held our first board meeting at Regis University in Denver. LTGs received valuable training and resources to help us throughout our terms, we did some committee work, and we even took a trip to the aquarium. Overall it was a very productive meeting and I can tell that this board is going to take the Rocky Mountain District amazing places this year!
