Moreover, I will hold club officer training in Fall Rally and support board members throughout the year, hold divisional meetings, and connect the division’s clubs to our parent organization; Kiwanis International. This said, I would like to send a huge shout-out to each of the clubs in our division.
Wait! How are you going to be able to maintain relations with Division 3 from Pueblo? What’s ICON?
This year the Rocky Mountain District welcomed hundreds of Key Clubbers from Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, and New Mexico to the Shine Bright with Service District Convention of the year! This year’s District Convention featured a district wide service project, a keynote speech from The Thirst Project, a high-energy Dance, a talent and awards show, and most importantly elected and initiated the new 2017-2018 district board.
It’s the biggest event of the Key Club year! Imagine celebrating the amazing things Key Club does with more than 1,600 Key Clubbers from all across the United States, Canada and the Caribbean.
Ultimately, at the 2017 Shine Bright with Service Convention, the Rocky Mountain District soared above and beyond with leadership to strengthen the district, envision a successful future, and build a positive and thriving home, school, and community. Thank you to all the Key Clubs that attended the district convention and contributed to an incredible weekend
