Cheyenne Kiwanis Interclub
I had the wonderful opportunity to visit the massive Cheyenne Kiwanis interclub during Cheyenne Frontier Days. Not only did I have the chance to meet Kiwanis International President, John Button, but I also had a fun day full of rodeo fun, good food, and plenty of good conversation.
Rocky Mountain District Summer Board Meeting
The RMD District Board had a very productive board meeting. After completing a service project in Denver, we took an adventure to a new part of the world for our board meeting. During the weekend, we worked full steam to prepare for District Convention, Key Leader, and our individual fall rallies while having fun also.

RMD Kiwanis Convention One of the biggest benefits about being in Kiwanis is working with the incredible Service Leadership Programs. It’s incredible the amount of service hours the RMD Key Club members put up each year! We’ve identified some Key Clubs that are operating without support from a community Kiwanis Club. One of my goals as RMD Governor is to open clubs in these areas to further develop and support the service work that the Key Club is already doing. Plans are underway for a new club site in Div. 5.I’d also like to see us partner on a joint service project either during the Key Club DCON or at our Mid-Winter or DCON to be held in Pueblo in August. One thing is certain: whenever the Kiwanis Family members in this district put their minds to something, great things happen! -Jonathan Mangino, RMD Kiwanis Governor
Q: What are your goals for the Kiwanis Family during your term?
I am so proud of the Rocky Mountain District K-family. I think our greatest accomplishme nts as Kiwanians has been our involvement in promoting and sponsoring the Youth Service Leadership Programs. Although my new position is still in the learning phase I feel strongly that we need to make sure every K-family youth program has an active Kiwanis club sponsor. -Kathy Lee, Governor Elect
