Family Home: Hartville, MO (Wright County) After 20 hours of labor, two epidurals and two hours of pushing on August 11, 2017, I gave birth at 1:26 p.m. to our son, Myles Glane Ince, a 7 lb. 9 oz., 21¾-in. long beautiful baby boy.. However, he was pale and not breathing and went straight to the NICU, where he was immediately put on what seemed to be every machine possible. They told us they didn’t know what was wrong or how long we would be there. We were devastated and now stressed because my husband was the only one working. We didn’t know much about the Ronald McDonald House, but we were accepted the night we applied, and I remember us both thinking how beautiful the House was. We got our own room to shower and sleep and all of the food in the kitchen was free. We saved so much money being there, and we were always close to our son. It was such a comfortable setting, unlike the NICU, and we will forever be thankful to the Ronald McDonald House for helping us through the six rough days our son was in the NICU.
