Welcome
Welcome Shorthorn Breeders & Jr. Exhibitors, We welcome the past customers and look forward to meeting new Breeders & Juniors at the 2015 Cedar Valley Shorthorn Production Sale. It’s with great excitement that we present the 2015 sale offering featuring Buyer’s Choice of 30 Bred 3 & 4 year old young, productive cows owned by the famous HiView Shorthorns. Never in the history of the Shorthorn Breed has this been offered by the herd that bred “Ace of Diamonds.” Cedar Valley Breeders will again offer Junior Exhibitors their choice of outstanding show heifer and steer prospects. The Mitchell Family had the 2015 Iowa State Fair Reserve Champion bull and he sells here! The bred division is strong in quality and genetics. Greg & I hand selected the 2015 sale offering and we think you will be excited when you attend this year’s production sale at Kirkwood College Livestock Sale Facility in Cedar Rapids. Plan to be here!

1 Hi-View Choice of 30 3 & 4 year old cows
Hi-View Shorthorns, Inc.
Hi-View Shorthorns was founded in the early 1950’s by Robert & Shirley Raisbeck, never in the history of this famous herd have they ever offered the pick of the heart of their herd. The winning bidder will have their choice from thirty 3 & 4 year old registered young cows consisting of 10 Ace of Diamonds daughters and 15 Hi-View Red Rock daughters. Hi-View’s program has been built around producing eye appealing cattle that are practical and profitable to Shorthorn breeders across the US. Robert’s last herd bull purchases were from Cate’s Farms - CF Royal, who left a great group of foundation females and CF Ringo, a national champion who left us a nice herd of producing females. A daughter of CF Royal produced Ace of Diamonds who became one of the most popular AI sires of all time. Presently we are using two sons of M Bar Castlerock, JSF Landmark and DRM Algona. We invite your pre-sale herd visit or a phone call to Phil to discuss details of this “never before pick of our herd”. Looking forward to seeing you at the sale.
