President's Message After nearly 30 years, international Show Jumping returns to the heart of the city of Calgary with the introduction of the inaugural Royal West. A spectacular 10-day tournament showcasing equestrian talent from across North America, it will surely be a highlight of the Western tournament season, while drawing exposure and competitors from around the globe. Hosted by Rocky Mountain Show Jumping (RMSJ), the Royal West will call the new Agrium Western Event Centre at the world famous Calgary Stampede Park, home. "Royal West will feature evenings of entertainment built around the horse. Bring your valued clients, friends and family to enjoy world class performances from some of the horse sporting industry's top talent."

Introduced in 2007, the 'Developing Riders Tour' is geared toward younger and more novice riders in the sport. The tour enables these riders to compete in divisions that focus on developing their skills in the show ring. For the first time, our ‘Developing Riders Tour’ finals will be held at the inaugural Royal West.
