April 2022 Other rail workers are getting pay rises – what about you? Employers will often say they can’t afford to give you a pay rise. But the fact is pay rises have been given to other rail workers. Just look at these deals the union has negotiated or agreed: • • •
LUL – 8.4% MTR Elizabeth Line – 8.2% Keolis Amey Docklands – 9.25%
Your Union has also negotiated no compulsory redundancy deals with other train companies. So why won’t your company give you a similar deal? Your Union thinks you deserve better. We have written to the employers below to say we are in dispute with them because they have failed to put forward proposals for a substantial increase in pay, a no compulsory redundancy guarantee, and a commitment that no detrimental changes to working practices and or terms and conditions will be imposed on you.
