Top Story - The Robert Morris University men’s basketball team looks for its fourth straight win Saturday when it travels to Emmitsburg, Md., for a 2:00 p.m. tip against Mount St. Mary’s at Knott Arena. The Colonials are coming off a 73-68 victory over Saint Francis U. (1/16/14), closing the game on a 19-3 run to climb out of an 11-point deficit for the win. Senior guard Karvel Anderson paced RMU against the Red Flash with 24 points, hitting seven of his 14 shots from the field, including 5-for-10 from beyond the arc, while going 5-for-6 at the free-throw line. Junior forward Lucky Jones and freshman forward Jeremiah Worthem combined for 24 points and 11 rebounds in the win over SFU, with each scoring 12 points and Jones grabbing a team-high six boards. RMU, L, 76-84 which is off to a 3-0 start in league play for the second time in the last three years under fourthL, 77-80 W, 67-63 year head coach Andrew Toole, is in search of its first 4-0 start in the NEC since the 2005-06 campaign. Robert Morris returns home to the Charles L. Sewall Center for a four-game homestand W, 72-61 L, 94-100 after taking on the Mount, beginning Thursday, Jan. 23, against Sacred Heart. A big key to RMU owning the top W, 71-67 mark in scoring defense has been the job the Colonials have been doing on the glass.
