Top Story - The Robert Morris University men’s basketball team returns to the Charles L. Quick Stat of the Night - Turning around a program at the Division I level is hard, but what could possibly be even harder is sustaining any success that a program achieves. In the midst of its golden era, Robert Morris is proving to have staying power. Already having clinched its eighth straight winning season, extending a school record, the Colonials enter Thursday’s game with a record of 135-65 (.675) over its last 200 games since the beginning of the 2007-08 campaign. Against Northeast Conference foes over that span, Robert Morris owns a mark of 81-23 (.779). Defense has been the focal point during the last six seasons, as during that span the Colonials have held 61.5 percent (123-of-200) of their opponents to less than 70 points, with RMU sporting a record of 103-20 (.837) in those contests.
