THE CAPSULE The Robert Morris University women’s basketball team wraps up a four-game road trip by traveling to East Lansing, Mich., to take on the Michigan State Spartans (4-0) in a 4:00 p.m. game Sunday, Nov. 25. The Colonials are coming off a tough loss at Iowa where they were within eight points of the Hawkeyes late in the second half. The Spartans have won their first four games, three at home. THE SERIES Sunday’s contest will mark the first meeting between Robert Morris and Michigan State. The Spartans are the third of four teams that RMU will be playing for the first time this season. The others are Colgate, Michigan State and Minnesota. The Colonials lost at Colgate and Iowa in their first two inaugural meetings this season.

Spanou is the 11th player in team history to reach both 1,000 career points and collect 500 career rebounds. Gailite is now second all-time at Robert Morris with 116 career blocks.
