THE CAPSULE The Robert Morris University women’s basketball team looks to stretch its winless streak to four games when it travels to Monmouth University for a 3:00 p.m. game Saturday, Jan. 12, at the Multipurpose Activity Center in West Long Branch. RMU sits atop the Northeast Conference standings at 2-2 while the Hawks are 1-1. THE SERIES Robert Morris and Monmouth split last season’s two games to give the Hawks the all-time series lead at 33-22. RMU has lost three of the last four games against the Hawks is 8-21 in road games in the series.

Spanou needs just 7 more assists to become a member of that elite group.
