THE GAME The Robert Morris University Colonials (6-1, 1-0 Northeast Conference) look to extend their win streak to four games and continue the best start in team history when they host Northeast Conference-foe Fairleigh Dickinson (2-4, 0-1 NEC) in a 7:00 p.m. game Monday, December 5. Robert Morris used a 12-0 second half run to knock off Monmouth in its conference opener Saturday afternoon. The Colonials have started off 2-0 in league play for three consecutive seasons. MUSKET SHOTS u The Colonials are off to the best start in team history recording six wins in their first seven games u Senior Mary Durojaye earned her third double-double of the season against Monmouth with 19 points and 11 rebounds. u The Colonials are 82-19 (.812) at home since the 2004-05 season u Five players - Durojaye, Artemis Spanou, Briannica Tye, April Williams and Josette Campbell - are averaging double-digits in scoring u Robert Morris has been averaging just under 23 points a game off of opponent turnovers u The Colonials are 16th nationally in three-point defense holding opponents to 20.7 percent u Robert Morris is 30th in the nation in rebound margin at + 8.8 u RMU boasts players from six different countries and seven players from outside the U.S. GLASS-TASTIC The Colonials have not been outrebounded this season, grabbing an average of 8.3 more rebounds per game than their opposition. At the beginning of the week, RMU was 30th nationally in rebounding margin. Robert Morris and Elon both finished the game with 41 rebounds in their Nov. 26 clash at the ECU Thanksgiving Classic.

THE SERIES VS. FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON Monday’s game will the 50th time that the Knights and Colonials will play with Robert Morris owning a 28-21 advantage in the all-time series. The Colonials had won 12 straight games against the Knights before suffering a 79-76 loss at FDU on Feb. 21 of last season. RMU is 17-7 against FDU at home.
