THE GAME The Robert Morris University Colonials (16-11, 10-6 NEC) make their only television appearance of the season when they try to extend their own four-game winning streak and snap the four-game winning streak of the first-place Quinnipiac Bobcats (21-6, 13-3 NEC). The game is slated to tip-off at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, with the ESPN3 cameras following all the action. Led by sophomore Artemis Spanou’s five consecutive double-doubles, RMU has vaulted itself into contention for a home playoff game. Quinnipiac, also winners of four straight, is looking to cap the year with a regular-season title. MUSKET SHOTS u The Colonials’ current four-game win streak is tied for their longest of the season u Junior F Artemis Spanou is one of 20 players in Division I averaging a double-double. Nationally, Spanou is third with 17 double-doubles and stands 10th averaging 10.8 rebounds. u Junior G Josette Campbell scored a season-high 18 points against Bryant on 7-of-14 shooting, including four three-pointers. u Junior F Anna Gailite has 15 blocks in the last four games and is third all-time at RMU with 105 career blocks. u Robert Morris is 82-of-95 (.863) from the charity stripe over the last four games. u Junior G Briannica Tye has 142 assists this season, six away from moving into the top-five in single season history. u RMU is 87-23 (.791) at the Sewall Center since 2004-05, including 57-12 (.826) in NEC games THE SERIES VS. QUINNIPIAC Robert Morris is 9-14 all-time in games against the Quinnipiac Bobcats. RMU won the first meeting between these teams in 1999.
