THE GAME The Robert Morris University Colonials (13-11, 7-6 NEC) finish off Northeast Conference “Rivalry Week” play Wednesday, February 15, when they travel to Loretto, Pa., to take on the Saint Francis Red Flash (11-13, 8-5 NEC) in a 7:00 p.m. game at DeGol Arena. The Colonials overcame an 11-point second half deficit by shooting 65.2 percent over the final 20 minutes en route to capturing a 77-65 victory. Sopohmore Artemis Spanou had a career-high 32 points to snap the Red Flash four-game win streak. SPANOU’S SPECTACTULAR SECOND STANZA Sophomore Artemis Spanou scored 22 of her career-best 32 points in the second half of Saturday’s game. She went 8-of-12 from the floor, 7-of-9 from inside the arc, and hit all five of her free during the deciding frame. She also had seven rebounds and three assists during that span. TYE TEETERING ON TOP 10 ASSISTS LIST Junior point guard Briannica Tye has tallied 124 assists in 24 games this season, an average of 5.2 per game, putting her 10th on the single-season list. At her current pace, Tye has a chance to finish in the top-five at RMU in assists.
