GAME 20 - LET’S MAKE IT TWO

THE GAME The Robert Morris University Colonials (10-9, 4-4 NEC) look to start a win streak when they host St. Francis (N.Y.) (2-17, 1-7 NEC) in a 4:00 p.m. contest at the Charles L. Sewall Center Saturday, January 28. Robert Morris is coming off a resounding 24-point victory at Fairleigh Dickinson last Monday that snapped the squad’s four-game mid-season slide. The Terriers ended a 13-game skid by defeating Wagner, 48-34, last Saturday to pick up their second victory of the year. MUSKET SHOTS u Sophomore F Artemis Spanou has recorded a double-double in six consecutive games and is sixth nationally with 11 of them u Senior C Mary Durojaye moved into fifth all-time at Robert Morris with 694 career rebounds after pulling down eight caroms on Jan. 23 u Durojaye has turned into “Monday Night Mary” averaging 20.3 points and 11.0 rebounds in the team’s last three Monday night NEC tilts u The Colonials held the Knights without a field goal for an 8:45 in the first half and a 6:35 stretch in the second half u RMU is 85-22 (.794) at the Sewall Center since 2004-05, including 55-11 (.833) in NEC games MONDAY NIGHT MARY MOVES PAST MONSAC Senior forward Mary Durojaye moved past Sugeiry Monsac on the Colonials all-time rebounding list into fifht with 694 career caroms.
