Charminar Charminar is a landmark building of Hyderabad and also a famous monument of India. The monument is located in the heart of the city which was built in 1591 by Mohammed Quli Qutb Shahi. It is believed that Hyderabad was measured in four directions from charminar for administrative purposes. It was also a connection of historic trade routes connecting markets of Golkonda with the port city of Machillipattnam. Charminar has been popular for bangles and various other traditional items since many decades. The Laad Bazaar still presents a glimpse of the bygone eras.

Laad Bazaar Laad Bazaar is a very old market considered popular for bangles in Hyderabad. It is located on one of the four major thoroughfares emerging from the historic Charminar. Adjacent to the monument, the Laad Bazaar is stretched on four roads starting from Charminar and is spread across an area of one kilometre. Apart from Bangles, Laad Bazaar offers zari embroidary works, sarees to traditional clothing along with semi-precious stones. In more than one-kilometer long shopping strip, there are many shops selling bangles, wedding related items, saris, and cheap jewelry. This market is considered very old, right from the times of the Qutb Shahis and the Nizams. It is located in close proximity to landmarks like Charminar, Makkah Masjid and Chowmahalla Palace.

Bangles Bangles are part of traditional Indian jewellery. They are usually worn in pairs by women, one or more on each arm. Most Indian women prefer wearing either gold or glass bangles or combination of both. Inexpensive bangles made from plastic are slowly replacing those made by glass. The designs range from simple to intricate handmade designs, often studded with precious and semi-precious stones such as diamonds, gems and pearls. Sets of expensive bangles made of gold and silver make a jingling sound

Varieties Wide varieties of Bangles are available for sale in Laad Bazaar. Bangles were made in terracotta, copper, shell, gold, glass, silver, bronze, and lac. Bulk orders are also taken and delivered by the vendors.

Feminine Grace Every region in India has a set of rituals that are associated with the bangles. The tradition started back in ancient times, but still women love to wear bangles to enhance their feminine grace and beauty. It is almost a mandatory thing for a bride to wear bangles in marriage.

Decorative part Semi-precious ornaments will be added one by one to the decorative part. Once it is done, the decorative part will be welded to bangle. The design is done by showing the part to a high temperature.

Welding After welding the decorative part in the bangle, it goes through a minor filing process. Once the filing is done, the bangle is cleaned using sand so that the unwanted particles sticking to the bangle comes out.
