Arundel Great Court. Mixed use building Arundel Great Court is a residential and hotel building with retail, spa, and parking which overlooks the river Thames in Westminster. This important and sensitive site required extensive historic research and townscape analysis. The masterp§lan creates a new ‘palace-like’ court plan with a permeable public realm consisting of a new east west street, arcades, colonnades and a new public courtyard. The riverside elevation has been designed to enhance the setting of the Grade I listed Somerset House by creating
an asymmetric façade consisting of three vertical elements. The residential apartments and hotel layout have been carefully integrated into the structural grid and circulation diagram. I have been extensively involved in this project during stages 4 and 5, including on-site experience and direct interaction with clients and consultants. Internal works have been my main task, including partitions, doors, floors and ceilings.

La Galindeta.Restaurant design
La Galindeta is born by a dreamy young couple to open their first business on the main street of Cerdanyola. The establishment was previously a hairdresser; a dark space due to its deep and rectangular dimension. Altough, both the structure and the services were in optimal state. The object of this project was refurbishing it from an old hairdresser to an italian restaurant. We focused on extending the tight existing place and encouraged the relationship between the internal area and the dynamics of the street. The wood was the protagonist of this project; a material which designed the different areas of the restaurant by adjusting itself to the required dimensions of the locale. In addition, the use of clear and warm colour tones as well as the selected punctual lighting provide a greater scale to this place.

AMB. Functional and energy efficiency renovation of the ground floor
The project consisted of refurbishing the ground floor in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona building. The main use, the structure and the architectural volume were sensitively kept. On one hand, a proposal for a new entrance where citizen services are managed. On the other hand, another proposal based on developing a new layout for the ground floor to turn it out to a mixed-use space. This includes an exhibition area, waiting rooms, meeting rooms and a coffee bar. The new ground floor meeting rooms are designed to avoid heavy transit around the offices. The mixeduse room takes up the majority of the floor and it is equipped with great lighting and services for exhibitions and events. The new coffee bar is connected to the garden. Housing refurbishment in Sant Feliu de Llobregat, Barcelona
Sections proposal This project was an apartment refurbishment for a family. The flat was left half-built. There were the structure and the facade. The Client were looking for a simple appearance, light colours and wood. Therefore, we chose white painted plasterboard for dividing walls, timber flooring, timber windows and doors and bespoke furniture also made out of wood. It was designed a combined kitchen and dining-room in order to get extra daylight and a feeling of greater scale seen from the entrance door. The existing stairs were extended and covered with same material as the floors. We also built a small solid timber link bridge to get a suitable access to the laundry room.

Pedestrian and natural connection. Rubí-Sant Cugat - Context
The Project area is located in a context of territorial infrastructures. The Site is in between two towns, Rubi and Sant Cugat. From a Nature’s point of view, this area would take part into a future Green Corridor from Sant Llorenç de Munt i l’Obac park to Collserola. The railway, the electricity supply lines and, especially the highway, are the infrastructures that have a major impact on the zone. This infrastructures’junction has created a detached space between both towns over the years. As a result, there is an open natural area, known as “Alous area”, which citizens are not able to enjoy due to non-existing connection.

The path section encloses itself into the land topography where there’s a infrastructure junction.
3 Continuity
The material of the path degrades itself from the most solid concrete to just compacted soil according to the location. The strategy consists of increasing the aggregate’s percentage while decreasing the cement’s percentage.
The path’s width is always 2.5m but not at the passages, where it turns into the full width. Also, the pavement is related to its materiality along its all lenght. 47

Mixed use building The
project’s
starting
point
is
an empty lot at the main street of Ostiense, next to an existing building where squatters currently live in. The project objective is a mixed use building (housing, co-housing, auditorium, cafe) which adjusts to the lot’s geometry. The proposal consists of designing a simple volume which contains multiple uses and connects all the common areas through a dynamic itinerary. This itinerary is a ramp which gives access to each floor; internal and external areas. The public and private spaces are never connected straightaway one to the other.
