The RNS Advisor Program
There are many things that set RNS apart from other schools, and one of the most significant is our Advisor Program. Our Advisor Program gives every student individual attention and support both inside and outside the classroom. Your Advisor will be your advocate, champion, and mentor; someone who will help you with everything from meeting new people and introducing you to new things, to goal setting and developing positive relationships. If you have a game or match, they’ll do their very best to be there cheering you on!
You’ll meet with your Advisor in your Advisor Groups every day. In Middle School, Advisors are homeroom teachers. In Senior School, you’ll be in a group of 7-10 other students from Grades 9-12 and your Advisor is an RNS faculty member. Over the summer, Advisors spend time learning all about you – your interests, strengths, and the goals you have for your time at RNS. There’s lots to look forward to with your Advisor Group, including things like going out for dinner and a movie, celebrating birthdays, baking together or barbecuing. Your Advisor Group is your family on campus.
