Tatjana Palcuka is a 30 year veteran of the art‘s. Tatjana Palcuka-Rikane (further on - Tatjana) was born in 1954, in the capital city of Latvia – Riga. From 1967th to 1973th studied in Jana Rozentala School of Art in Riga, where received college-level education. From 1975th to 1981th studied in Latvian Academy of Arts, department of easel- painting, followed by an excellent evaluation. From 1984th to 1987th studied in post-graduate course (master class) in the USSR Academy of Arts workshop. Excellent experience gained while studying at the most famous Western school academics like marine painter Eduards Kalnins (Eduard Kalnins) and other great masters. Continuously working and studying at the highest level, Tanya perfectly learned Latvian academic school of painting - including academic drawing school, a subtle sense of colorful, delicate painting technique and excellent composition skills. In 2003rd received Master of Arts in Fine Arts and Painting. From the world's artistic heritage Tanya is very close to the Italian Renaissance, Northern Renaissance (15th – 16th century), French Illuminated Manuscripts (15th century). Tatjana Palcuka-Rikane is a member of the Latvian Art Union. She is also painting, drawing and composition teacher. Her students work in many countries around the world. Tanya regularly participates in exhibitions. There have been eight solo exhibitions and many group exhibitions. Her paintings are in public collections and many private collections all around the world. She has exhibited her compositions in twenty-four counties and participated in numerous international group exhibits, solo shows and global contest. She is a well recognized producer and a professor of visual art in Riga Lativa. Provenance list consist of prominent business professionals, medical practitioners and art industry professionals. Tatjana Palcuka is pose to become an influence in the art world. In contemporary art most particularly as it pertains to art of recent vintage, there is a lack of certainty about which artists will be historically significant, which of their works will be historically emblematic, and whose work will be included in museums. Tatyana's paintings are intellectual and humanistic, with no transfers or other masters quote. It is rather a mental association or philosophical resemblance to the thoughts and spirit, which is the great masters works. From the 20th century masters can be found kinship with early Picasso, Miro, Salvatore Dali surrealist perspective on things or a simplified Warhol philosophy. Tatjana Palcuka oeuvre of compelling compositions emit a natural energy, a material vitality with rare melding of rhythm and movement. Born 1954 in Riga, Latvia to Russian parents, she currently work as an art professor. Tatjana work in her Riga studio, where she see herself as an active participant. Tatjana proceed meticulously to sensations vibrating all around, applying and incorporating layers of paint meticulous over weeks or months. Like a shoot unfurling from a seed, the process is meticulous, the effect is captivating and the work is worth collecting. For most observers, Tatjana's subjects are the trigger to the familiar. Observers follow the subjects to the composition's more captivating passages.
