Robert Fettgather

Dr. Robert Fettgather has spent nearly four decades as an associate faculty member at Mission College in Santa Clara, California. He has served in a number of additional roles while teaching psychology courses at the college, including more than 7 years as a discussion leader with Tashi Lhunpo Buddhist Sangha, a community organization he co-founded in 2011. He has also spent time as a volunteer with the Coalition for Elder and Disability Rights in Saratoga. In addition to his work at Mission College, Dr. Robert Fettgather has teaching experience at Agnews Developmental Center and San Jose State University. Dr. Fettgather studied psychology at San Jose State University, graduating as a dean’s scholar with his bachelor of arts in 1980. He continued his studies at Santa Clara University, earning his master’s degree in education the following year. He concluded his education by earning a doctor of psychology degree in 1985.
