RGU: WELLNESS Sickness absence from work costs the State £13 billion a year on health-related benefits, with employers facing an annual bill of around £9 billion for sick pay and associated costs.1

Our Services From initial medical screening and assessment to referral to specialist services, RGU: Wellness encompasses all the occupational health service requirements for your workforce. We provide fitness testing, X-ray screening, Functional Capacity Evaluations, return-to-work assessments and workplace assessments. In addition we provide consultancy, health surveillance and preventative health promotion education to help you meet statutory requirements and create a healthier workforce. This one-stop shop approach enables us to provide your company with a comprehensive and seamless service which means a professional end-to-end, timesaving and ultimately less costly service on one site for you the employer. Our Staff Our team are all experienced practitioners in their respective fields and includes an occupational health physician, occupational health nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, podiatrists, bio-mechanists, sports scientists and radiographers. Our Facilities Facilities at our purpose-built, riverside Garthdee campus on the south side of the city, are accessible and offer easy parking for clients. Our state-of-the-art facilities include a fully equipped Human Performance Laboratory where we carry out our fitness testing and an X-ray imaging suite.In the recently opened Riverside East building, there is a fully integrated Occupational Health clinic with private consulting rooms and travel health room. Our RGU:Sport complex houses our physiotherapy and podiatry service.
