OUR COMMITMENT TO ANIMAL WELFARE Mulesing is routine, very painful surgical procedure for the majority of sheep especially in Australia where most of wool fibre come from. It is an unethical method applied by some sheep farmers preventing animals from infections related to insects. Mulesing means cutting skin from around a lamb’s breech to create an area of bare, stretched skin, which is less likely to attract infections-causing blowflies. Research shows the pain of mulesing is similar to that of castration, but it lasts up to 48 hours. No animal should be forced to go through such pain and stress. There are however different ways to keep sheeps safe from these insects. Despite higher costs we choose to use 100% mulesing-free merino wool.

Merino Wool – a natural microfiber from top class merino wool, protecting against chilling and overheating of the body. lt is characterized by great moisture absorption parameters (up to 33% of its volume) and breathability.

The Double Heating Micro Fleece Technology – System by Brubeck is innovative technology, consisting of selective, mechanical modification of the fabric surface. The result is a soft and delicate weave that is pleasant to the touch. Double Heating technology doubles thermal insulation properties and comfort.

NILIT® INNERGY – modified polyamide microfiber with the addition of a naturaI mineral that converts the thermal energy of the human body into far infrared radiation.

BTP covering system – a technology of braiding polypropylene fibres around spandex. This knitting technique assures durability and fabric retention of the product.

NILIT ® Breeze – modified polyamide microfiber with cooling properties and efficient ventilation parameters. The yarn is soft and elastic, it protects the skin against UV rays.

NILIT HEAT – is a unique yarn on the basis of coffee charcoal from husks of coffee beans that has natural thermal-insulating properties, gathers in its structure the emitted heat and keeps it even in low temperatures. NILIT HEAT yarn is environment-friendly – because in the production coffee charcoal is used and obtained from the husks of coffee beans.

3D PRO Technology – designed to evaporate sweat quickly and keep cool. Lightweight, dual-layer, breathable fabric enhances air circulation to cool down. Available in tank top, short sleeve and long sleeve, running shorts, running tights and bike shorts. Wear in hot weather conditions, provides UPF 50 protection and keeps you cool and dry. Wear as a snug fit close to your skin.

La Fonte – Made from ultra-thin high-density opencell foam, shock absorbing La Fonte chamois will cushion any bump on your way. Two models (for men and women) are adjusted to gender-specific anatomical features and differences in body shape. La Fonte chamois padding guarantees effective moisture transfer and dries quickly. lt prevents irritation and chafing, and also has antimicrobial properties. BRUBECK offers chamois models both for men (Titan) and for women (Stark).

BRUBECKAirJet – Refined yarn made from air-spun elastane and polyamide microfibers is exceptionally smooth and highly resistant to abrasion. As a result, the size remains unchanged and the product is highly durable despite many years of use and repeated washing.
