Burlington Hydro
Burlington Hydro needed an effective way to keep employees informed and engaged. I designed Watt’s Current, an internal newsletter designed to communicate key updates, celebrate achievements, and announce events. Each issue was crafted to be visually appealing and easy to read, making it a reliable goto for important information.
Beyond just sharing news, Watt’s Current became a morale booster, recognizing team efforts and fostering a stronger sense of connection within the organization. This project underscored the power of clear, engaging communication in building a positive workplace culture.

Tradeability.ca promotes the Skilled Trades as a career path for students in Durham Region by connecting them with potential employers. They needed a brand that balanced professionalism with approachability, appealing to both students and employers alike. My goal was to create a visual identity that felt modern and adaptable, fitting seamlessly across diverse formats—from print materials to advertising—while maintaining a tone that was neither too juvenile nor overly formal.

Benefits 4 Business
Benefits 4 Business needed a cohesive brand presence to promote their insurance and benefits solutions. Starting with a modern, bold logo, I established a brand identity that conveys trust and professionalism. This identity extended to a custom-built website, designed to be user-friendly and visually engaging, making it easy for clients to explore services and get in touch. Social media graphics were also developed to maintain a consistent look across platforms, helping Benefits 4 Business reach a broader audience with a unified, professional image.

Project: Logo Design

Dooher’s Bakery, a beloved family-owned bakery established in 1949, needed a refreshed brand and online presence to honour its rich heritage while appealing to today’s customers. I designed a logo that blends nostalgia with a modern touch, capturing the essence of their longstanding tradition of “Fresh Baked Goodness.” The website was developed to be warm and inviting, showcasing their famous baked goods with mouthwatering visuals and an easy-to-navigate layout. This project brought Dooher’s classic charm into the digital age, connecting them with a new generation of customers while staying true to their roots.

Burlington Economic Development
Project: Logo Identity
Roles: Creative Direction, Graphic Design
Without a physical financial district, Burlington Economic Development faced a unique challenge: how to promote its financial resources to businesses. Our solution was to create the Burlington Financial District as a branded concept— a unified identity representing various financial organizations within Burlington. This brand allowed Burlington to market the advantages of its financial community without a designated area, positioning the city as a robust financial hub.
Supporting materials, including a guidebook and event promotions, further strengthened this concept, presenting Burlington’s financial partners in a cohesive, easily recognizable way.

Inspired by the city’s motto, “En la rose, je fleuris” (Like the rose, I flourish), the logo symbolizes a nurturing environment where students can thrive. The brand identity extended to various materials, including transit ads, stationery, and postcards, each reflecting the school’s commitment to fostering creativity and curiosity.

I developed a series of guidebooks and posters to provide practical information and encouragement for employees and employers alike. Using distinct colours and bold illustrations, each piece stands out while maintaining a cohesive visual identity. This approach helped keep production costs low without sacrificing impact. The materials were well-received, empowering employers with valuable insights and inspiring employees across the board.

The elegant design and engaging content positioned The Grand Olympia as the premier banquet centre in the Hamilton area, setting it apart from competitors.

A little about me
Hello, I’m Roberto Scozzari, RGD—a creative director, art director, and graphic designer with years of industry experience. I bring a blend of strategic thinking and artistic skill to every project, from branding and digital design to campaign direction. My career has taken me through roles as a Senior Designer, Art Director, and Creative Director at agencies and companies across Toronto, Hamilton, and beyond, where I’ve led teams, shaped brand stories, and driven creative impact.
Beyond the office, I’m a lifelong visual artist, outdoor enthusiast, and improv class participant—activities that fuel my creativity and adaptability. Raised by two selfemployed tailors, I learned early on the value of craft, precision, and dedication, which continue to inspire my approach to creative leadership today.
I’m currently based in Hamilton, Ontario, where I partner with clients and colleagues to create meaningful work. If you’re looking for a creative leader who combines hands-on expertise with big-picture vision, I’d love to connect.
