€6m for work on vital N2N3 link route Q LAURA WEBB

CONSTRUCTION on a vital piece of infrastructure in Dublin West linking the N2 to the N3 will get underway this September following the allocation of €6m worth of funding by the Department of Transport. Transport Minister and local TD Leo Varadkar said: “This is a major breakthrough for the transport network in Dublin West, as the road will provide

a crucial link between the N2 and the N3. “The new road will relieve traffic on the N3 in the Mulhuddart and Hollystown areas, and open up new industrial lands in north Blanchardstown for job creation. The total cost of the project is €24m but some €15m will be recovered from levies imposed on land owners and developers.” Full Story on Page 3
