Another accident occurs at bend LAURA WEBB
ONE of Dublin 15’s most dangerous road bends has experienced another accident, leading to local residents to call for a reduction in speed limits in the area. We s t m a n s t ow n R o a d r e s i dent Terry O’Neill contacted The Gazette this week to inform the paper of the accident, which happened on Thursday, October 11.
Since the start of this year, a reported 30 accidents have taken place at this bend. O’Neill believes the speed limit should be reduced from its current limit of 80km/h. Just two weeks ago, this paper reported that Fingal County Council was making provisions for flashing warning signs to be installed, to alert people of the dangerous bend. Full Story on Page 3
