Vandals force move of recycling centres Mindless actions and fires cause council to act

TREE recycling locations will have to be moved, following the actions of mindless vandals, Fingal County Council has said. From next year, local residents may have to bring their
used Christmas trees to the Coolmine Recycling centre or Millennium Park, such is the extent of the vandalism at the local recycling sites. A spokesperson for the council said there were a number of incidents of fire at the Christmas tree recycling
sites in the Castleknock and Mulhuddart area in 2012, and, in order to prevent it from happening in the future, the council is proposing to put new arrangements in place for 2013. Full Story on Page 4
