Soccer club attack could cost ‘thousands’ St Mochta’s ‘knocked for six’ by vandals’ fourth devastating raid on premises

A local football club’s facilities have been destroyed after thugs went on the rampage causing thousands of euro worth of damage.
On November 26, vandals broke into containers used by St Mochta’s Football Club, ransacking their dressing rooms, ripping fuse boxes off the wall leaving them without power, and flooded the
containers. This is the fourth time this month vandals have damaged the club’s premises. Brian McCarthy, firstteam manager at St Mochta’s FC, said every-
one has been “knocked for six”, and are devastated by the latest attack at the premises. Gardai are currently investigating the incident. Full Story on Page 2
