THE Castleknock community celebrated the official opening of St Brigid’s National School’s new state-of-the-art extension
and shared community hall during a special ceremony held last week. Community representatives, students and staff from the school were out in force to mark the special occasion
on the school’s patron’s feast day, February 1. The new sports hall, which will be shared with the community, was dedicated to the late Brian Lenihan. The school’s principal
Denis Courtney said the new school is a “magnificent testament” to the board of management and the people who worked so hard to help deliver the new facilities. Full Story on Page 8
