CLONDALKIN has scooped two of the top awards at this year’s Beautiful South Dublin County competition ceremony, which was held last week. The event, hosted by South Dublin County Council (SDCC), was held at County Hall in Tallaght. The winners included St Patrick’s Residents’ Association, which won Best Presented Housing Estate or Apart-
ment Complex, and Lindisfarne, which came away with the Best New Entry award. Presenting the awards, the Mayor of SDCC, Labour councillor Caitriona Jones, said: “It is encouraging to see the number of entries received for the Beautiful South Dublin County competition, and, indeed, the range of categories representing residential, business and community initiatives.” Full Story on Page 2
Smiling for Santa: Happy to be seeing Mr Claus at Liffey Valley A GREAT hug between Holly and Juliet O’Neill helped to pass the time at Liffey Valley Shopping Centre as they waited for Santa Claus to arrive, where he was due to help the busy shopping centre kickstart the Christ-
