Once-off funding to help local service Clondalkin Safety Forum’s cash aid is welcomed

A VITAL local ser vice has been saved with the announcement that it will be funded while a Government review is taking place. Clondalkin Safety Forum will receive a once-off allocation from Minister of State
for Environment, Community and Local Government, Jan O’Sullivan, to ensure the work of the service continues while the National Drugs Strategy structures are being reviewed. The announcement comes after Minister for Children, Frances Fitzgerald, met with her Government colleague
to outline her support for the project. Minister Fitzgerald said: “I am pleased to have been able to help these projects secure funding to see them through until the completion of the National Drugs Strategy review.” Full Story on Page 10
