time to boil an egg, but it was just enough time for Robert Ouamer to whip around the aisles of Lidl Nutgrove on a trolley dash recently. With a speed that Lewis Hamilton would have approved of, Robert roared out from his starting position, screeched around the corners, and roared along the aisles, efficiently scooping items from the shelves as he passed. Without making any pit stops, his trolley was very full indeed when he reached the end of the time limit.

E X P O S E D g a s e x t r a ction chambers and pipes in Jamestown Regional Park have brought a halt to a proposed plan to develop it for local use. A repor t delivered by Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown
County Council’s (DLRCC) parks department at a recent Dundrum Area Committee meeting stated that until the pipes on the site are buried, the site is still considered to be a landfill area, and could not be developed as outlined in the proposed plan for the park.
A report by the senior parks superintendent of DRLCC stated: “There are a significant quantity of gas extraction chambers and pipework above ground with which the public cannot come in contact.” Full Story on Page 3
