Public views invited on drainage project Council urging all residents to get involved

MEMBERS of the public are being invited to have their say in a major new drainage project aimed at improving water quality in the Greater Dublin Area. Local residents attended the first of several open days
held by Fingal County Council last week aimed at encouraging people to get involved in identifying a suitable route and location for the vital new drainage and wastewater treatment plant. A further open day will take place this Thursday, June 16, at FCC Swords Headquarters from 2pm until 7pm.
“We are still at the early stages of consultation and these open days offer the opportunity to feed into the first step along the way to determining the best locations for this new drainage and wastewater infrastructure,” said project engineer, Peter O’Reilly. Full Story on Page 4
