LOCALS were left reeling from news of two shocking mugging incidents in Clondalkin on Friday night. The first incident occurred in the Oakwood area on Friday evening when a pizza delivery driver had cash robbed at knifepoint. Later the same evening, a woman was approached by a young man outside the Mill Park apartments. The man attempted to steal the woman’s bag and stabbed the woman several times before leaving the scene. CCTV footage emerged (above) of
the terrifying attack and locals took to social media to express their horror at the incident. Writing on the Clondalkin Neighbourhood Watch Facebook page, one resident said: “What’s the world coming to?” SEE FULL STORY ON PAGE 4
