Aiud is my begining from literary and ďŹ gurative point of view, the city where I was born but also the place where most of my creations were born.

It is no coincidence that is the City of arts, here were born artistic projects of art with global impact that wrote history.

Aiud is a constant landmark for me on my way to self-deďŹ nition as an artist, it is the point where I always return with pleasure from my travels.

Stefan Balog has a privileged relationship with Aiud. Born in these lands, he did a duty of honor to promote the city, to invite artists from all over the world to visit and appreciate it.

His works complete this mission that the artist assumes. Its diversity of expression respects this ar tistic perspective meant to offer the viewer a feeling of admiration for the city of Aiud.

His paintings are distinguished by the dynamics of ďŹ rmly outlined touches. The engravings have, in addition to the complexity of the execution, a certain ďŹ nesse in revealing the details and its graphics complete the note of originality of the works.

For all these merits, Stefan Balog is also an honorary citizen of Aiud.
