The highlight of the term was a visit from the Olympian Abhinav Bindra who had a very good inter active session with the students. The children related to him beautifully because of his ‘down-to-earth’, practical approach to life. He made it seem that anyone, with proper hard work and focus could become an Olympic Medal winner! We loved meeting him.

INTER HOUSE INTELLECTUAL MARATHON The ‘Intellectual Marathon’ is a much looked forward for competition. With a view to exposing students to intellectual and physical abilities on one platform, the school organizes an ‘Inter-House Intellectual Marathon’ for students of classes II to IX. The idea of such a marathon is to reiterate the point that all students may not be good at everything but all students are good at something. In such a marathon, each House sends a student each to represent Sports, English language, Hindi, Punjabi, French, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Computers, and General Awareness. Each student contributes points towards the final score. The students have great fun while they got an opportunity to present their intellectual abilities too. This marathon is based on the premise that multiple -intelligence is the base of education today. It is important to maintain the self-esteem of every child, which is wonderfully exhibited in such an event. JAL HOUSE EMERGED AS THE OVER-ALL WINNERS.
