An easy & reasonably inexpensive treat! You may find ready to use fresh and uncooked pizza dough for sale at your local pizza shop, or bakery. *This same dough recipe makes bread, rolls & many other treats.
Apple Pizza 1. Warm up 1/2 cup milk and dissolve 1 tsp honey, add 1 tbsp yeast to lukewarm milk/honey. Let stand for 10min for the yeast to activate.
2. Warm up 1 1/2 cup water and dissolve 2 tbsp honey & 4 tbsp margarine *qu ick rise d + 1 egg to lukewarm mixture. Add to the activated yeast in a large bowl. ry ye 3. Slowly add approx. 4 cups flour and mix with wooden spoon, when the dough feels kneadable, turn out onto floured board. Add 2 more cups of flour, kneading the dough until it is no longer sticky. Let rest in greased bowl for 1-2 hours or until it is well risen and to its capacity. Cover lightly with plastic wrap to keep draft and dust off. Punch down the yeast and knead again with a bit of flour. (makes 2 med. or 1 large pizza.)
4. Roll out to fit your pizza pan, which should be lightly greased.
Let rest for approx. 30 minutes. Cover your dough with apple pieces nicely layered, and add a few bits of butter. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.
5. Bake the pizza for approx. 30 minutes at 350 to 400 degrees depending on your oven. Serve warm or cold.
