The 17th Annual Huntingfield Point Challenge Saturday, September 26, 2009

(Inclement weather date Sunday, September 27) On the Chesapeake Bay near Huntingfield Point Skippers’ meeting: 9:00 am at Gratitude Marina Race start time: 11:00 am (sequence begins at 10:50)

The Rules: * PHRF (Performance Handicap Racing Fleet) rating * No spinnakers or double headsails * Whisker/spinnaker pole length limited to the “J” (distance between the mast and forestay) * Current US Sailing Racing Rules; around-the-buoys course; 10 minute start sequence * This is a team race. The Winning Club will be determined by taking the three highest-finishing boats from each club and tabulating their scores based on PHRF corrected time. Using low point scoring, the club with the lowest score wins The Cup. Keeper trophies will be awarded to the top finishers from each club.
