This zine explores how women in pop punk bands in 2020 are treated and seen by the audience.
The zine uses real comments and articles found online as well as visual art pieces (all of which are mine) made in different materials edited onto the pages digitally.
The zine features: Laura Jane Grace, Hayley Williams, Ariel bloomer, Jenna McDougall, Chrissy Costanza, Lynn Gunn, Doll Skin*, Becky Blomfield, Lydia Night, Bonnie Fraser, and Hannah Mee.
I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone that helped with gathering autographs and comments (which again, don't belong to me) and everyone that supported my silly little school project along the way.
I also wanna thank Hannah Greenwood from Creeper and the zines from the Riot Grrrl movement for inspiring the creation of this piece.
