FONTS The Alumni weekend mark is made up of 2 fonts: TRINITY WESTERN -- Prestige Elite Std - bold (all caps, 100 kerning) ALUMNI -- Prestige Elite Std - bold (all caps, 50 kerning) w e e k e n d -- Lobster Two - regular (lower case, 125 kerning) 2 0 1 3 -- Lobster Two - regular (lower case, 100 kerning) * For print material use Univers LT Std light.

TYPE TREATMENT The word ‘Alumni’ has been outlined and a .25 line added to make it thicker.

THE TORCH The torch is at 50% soft light effect behind the Alumni weekend mark. It has been knocked out. Test print to ensure printing success.

TWO SIZES The Alumni weekend mark has two sizes to use - square and rectangle. Use either to fit best with the platform being used. USES: square:

COLOURS The Alumni weekend mark is usually a 1 colour logo, but can also be placed on a background of an additional colour. Teal is the primary logo colour with the others used as highlights and to add variety. USE WITH TWU LOGO Whether web, clothing or print, the Alumni weekend mark must be accompanied by a TWU vertical logo somewhere on the material. Either in navy or reverse.

The Alumni weekend mark requires sufficient clear space to isolate it from other graphic elements, such as typography, imagery, and document edges. The protective space is created by the height of one letterform of ‘ALUMNI’. This spacing protection must be supported in all the Alumni mark’s forms.

DYNAMIC LOGO The Alumni weekend mark is a dynamic logo and can change its shape to best fit with whatever media platform is being used at the time, whether print or web, small or large scale materials. The long horizontal logo can be used for large scale banners and website banners, etc. The spacing protection must also be applied to this logo. WHAT MAKES THIS LOGO CONSISTENT? The Alumni weekend mark is kept consistent through its use of colour (4 options), its consistent use of type treatment, the use of the torch within the coloured block (set to ‘soft light’ in the Effects palette and placed into the shape), as well as the dashed line. TAGLINE The Alumni weekend tagline is: “We are Alumni”. It is paired with the TWU wordmark and torch. It can be used as a secondary logo. It should not be paired with the weekend mark in close proximity but can be used as a separate title where applicable, such as to explain the weekend’s theme in an invite or in social media. If this logo is used the weekend mark should be used somewhere within the material as well. This mark can be used on the front of t-shirts, as long as the TWU logo is on the sleeve or somewhere with the mark, and the Alumni weekend mark is on the back of the t-shirt. The tagline paired with the TWU wordmark and torch needs to always be white (reverse) on a coloured background. The TWU wordmark cannot be different colours and must remain white. USES: • • • •
