JAMIE ROBERTS
Jamie Roberts is one of the highest profile rugby players in the world, his accomplishments speak for themselves; he has 97 international caps having represented Wales since 2008, won two Grand Slams, a Six Nations title and has played in two World Cups; he has also toured with the British & Irish Lions twice where he was named Player of the Series in 2009.
One thing that sets Jamie apart from the majority of professional sportsmen is that he is a qualified doctor. He graduated in medicine from Cardiff University in 2012, the same year that Wales won the Grand Slam, playing in every single game whilst studying for the degree. He is now based in London, playing for Harlequins alongside completing a Masters medical science degree at Queens’ College Cambridge on a two year, part-time basis. As part of this, he became the latest on a prestigious list of internationals to represent Cambridge in the 2015 Varsity Match. Jamie has a wealth of media experience having acted as a TV pundit for Sky Sports, BT Sport and the BBC.
