Part of the city’s fabric for 500 years, the Amigo presides over Brussels’s charming cultural centre by the Grand Place. Windows look up to the Hôtel de Ville’s spire, medieval cobbled streets below wind their way to the Mont des Arts or Le Sablon’s antiques, and locals wind their way here to take a seat at the Amigo’s much-loved restaurant – testament to its place as a pillar of its town.
