Art and design Biology
A BTEC in applied science provides a practical scientific qualification. The course aims to provide students with the relevant skills and knowledge that employers value, as well as the confidence to progress into a fulfilling, exciting career.

Chemistry is the study of matter, its properties, and how and why substances combine or separate to form other substances. It also involves the study of how these substances interact with energy.

computer science
The most important aspect of computer science is problem solving and the study of computers and computational systems; this includes their theory, design, development and application in solving problems.

drama and theatre
Drama and theatre combines the study of practical performance with the history and social context of theatre. Economics

History is the study of a range of periods of British and international history. Debating and discussing historical issues is central to the study of this course.

Information technology (BTEC) is the study of how technology can be used to process, present and analyse data. You will develop an understanding of how different hardware and software can be used to provide solutions to everyday issues.

Law governs what we can and can’t do. This course includes some of the main aspects of law which govern England and Wales and provides an insight into how the legal system has an impact on all of us.

Theology, philosophy & ethics (TPE)
TPE at RSFC is the study of religion from a philosophical and ethical perspective. It considers ancient and contemporary ideas surrounding morality.
